Sunflowers bloom for a short season—let’s capture it while it lasts. This mini session is ideal if you want a few stunning, golden-hour style photos in a sunflower field near Christchurch, with gentle posing guidance and natural, joyful moments.
Where is the location?
We’ll shoot at the stunning South Eyre Sunflower Field near Christchurch—an open, spacious field filled with golden sunflowers and dreamy summer light. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly spot with easy access and parking nearby.

Where do we meet / how do we find you?
After booking, I’ll send you the exact meeting point at South Eyre Sunflowers and where to park.
On the day, please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can start on time. We’ll meet at the agreed spot, have a quick hello, and then walk into the field together to start the session smoothly.
Reschedule & cancellation policy
If the weather is not cooperate, we’ll reschedule to the next available date so you still get the best photos.
If you need to reschedule for personal reasons, please let me know at least 48 hours before your session time (subject to availability).
If there are no remaining sunflower dates available, you can transfer your booking to one of my standard sessions instead.
For cancellations, please note that your deposit is non-refundable as it secures your time slot.
How many people can join?
This mini session is designed for up to 5 people. If you’d like to include more family members, please message me first—an additional fee may apply depending on group size.
Can we purchase additional images and upgrade to the full gallery?
Yes, you’ll have the option to purchase extra photos from your gallery if you’d like more favourites. Additional images are $15 each. If you’d like a bigger selection, you can also upgrade to the Full Gallery (lightly edited) option.

It’s about a 40-minute drive from Christchurch.
Parking is available on-site. I’ll send you the exact parking info and where to meet after your booking.
Are dogs allowed in the sunflower field?
Yes — dogs are allowed, as long as they are kept on a leash at all times.
Is there a toilet on-site?
There is no toilet on-site. The nearest public toilets are in Oxford, about an 8-minute drive away.
Is the field suitable for a stroller or wheelchair?
Some areas are accessible, but not the entire field. We can use accessible spots for photos, however some areas may be difficult to enter due to uneven ground and densely planted sunflowers.
A little sunshine you can keep—captured in warm light, and saved as a memory that won’t fade.
